Z Index Drop Down problem

Looking Cool, but
a) when I put into a tight Grid (Row Height of 25 Pixels) with other Controls in Grid Rows Below it. The Menu Header shows up, but the Menu Items drop down, are hidden below the other controls in the Grid.Row below. So i think you have a ZIndex porblem of your Menu item drops down appearing below other controls, added on rows afetr this menu.
b)Also notice that VisualStudio designer does not recognise it display
c) Does not apear to Layout porperly with other Controls in the same stack panel. E.g. I have existing Buttons, which overwrite the same space, when in same stackpanel ?

You can solve the ZIndex Problem by adding Canvas.Zindex to the Menu or the control containing the menu
ex : Canvas.ZIndex=2
Higher ZIndex brings the control more to the front
The Control shouldn't neccessarily be a Canvas for the Canvas.ZIndex to work

Hi Gammasaman,
Tried with your approach but did not success.
My scenario is like.....
<Layout Grid>
<Header Grid>
</Header Grid>
<Details Grid>
</Details Grid>
<Footer Grid>
</Footer Grid>
</Layout Grid>

My menu items will be hide in detail grid portion.

Attached image file for reference.

Thanks in advance

I just solved this issue myself. The fix is to reorder your xaml so that the MenuBar is the last control defined.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for your reply.

I am unable to understand. I found 4 file from folder "BuildProcessTemplates" (DefaultTemplate.11.1.xaml, DefaultTemplate.xaml, LabDefaultTemplate.11.xaml, UpgradeTemplate.xaml). Where I can use this four files in the project which I was download from CodePlex called "SilverlightMenuControlv2\SLMENUv2.0"?
